Job Description

  • Your mission at Climeworks will be to oversee all aspects of a Research & Development / New Product Introduction project, including planning, budgeting and overall organization.
  • You will ensure that the work is completed efficiently with no errors or negative impacts on the timeline, provide feedback to all team members, and facilitates communication throughout the project’s lifecycle.
  • Acting as a dedicated Project Engineer for our integration project of systems in operation, you gather inputs from the various technical teams and ensure that the work is distributed and controlled in a way that will have the most positive impact on the project.
  • You are responsible to develop timelines which are realistic, reliable and in line with the constraints and expectations from all project stakeholders.
  • You oversee the budget allocated to the different sub-projects and reporting to the PM.
  • You are responsible for reporting duties and escalate issues to the project PM and Head of Programs. You support the preparation of project review slide-decks for presentation to the executive team (incl. CEO).
  • You ensure all functions supporting the project team are adequately resourced, and ensure that the interaction with internal and external stakeholders are going smoothly.
  • You are working with multiple engineering disciplines and you can understand the interdependencies between them as well as the impact that each engineering deliverables can have on other disciplines.
  • You are responsible to liaise with Procurement to organize any logistic needed for the project.
  • You coordinate the project risk and opportunities assessment and follow-up with action owners.
  • You completed a university degree within a scientific or engineering discipline.
  • You have at least 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • You have demonstrated experience in coordinating projects before.
  • You are familiar with project management tools (MS Package, MS Team, MS Project).
  • You are proactive, and comfortable with fast-paced environments, where decisions need to be taken quickly.

  • You can engage with a variety and cross-functional team of experts and engineers.
  • You are self-driven, an excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas simply, and you have a strong willingness to learn.
  • You are a problem solver, communicative person who is not afraid to speak his mind and find traditional or new ideas to implement in order to improve the project.
  • You are business fluent in English.
  • You are up to travelling occasionally.
