Job Summary

This Real Estate Paralegal will primarily support Reactivate’s legal and development teams on a variety of real estate matters. The role will involve drafting various agreements and related documentation associated with land, title and survey matters that arise in connection with Reactivate’s community solar projects in the United States. The role will also involve some corporate administrative responsibilities, including managing signature pages, preparing corporate resolutions and maintaining books and records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage real estate agreements, including lease and easement agreements
• Review and summarize title commitments and surveys
• Assist internal and external counsel with title clearance matters to obtain title insurance policies
• Manage real estate transaction deliverables
• Assist with corporate administrative tasks, including preparing corporate resolutions, maintaining books and records, and coordinating signatures

Requirements

• Accredited Associate or BA/BS degree
• A high attention to detail and strong organizational, time management, and oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing real estate and title curative documents
• Experience in reviewing title work and surveys
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Paralegal Certificate is preferred
