About Rondo Energy 

Rondo Energy's mission is to eliminate 15% of global CO2 emissions in 15 years. 

To accomplish this mission, Rondo is deploying low-cost, zero-carbon Rondo Heat Batteries to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy and to significantly decarbonize industrial processes that are commonly thought of as "difficult-to-decarbonize". Our Heat Batteries charge from intermittent renewables to provide high temperature, continuous heat for customers safely, reliably, at an unprecedented 98% efficiency - and at a cost point that is lower than any other method.

We are looking for an experienced, customer-centric, and technologically savvy Executive Assistant to provide a wide range of administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Commercial and the company President, along with other members of the Commercial and Operations teams. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Business Operations.   

Support our team and together we can reduce world CO₂ emissions by 1% in 10 years, and by 15% in 15 years! 

 

What You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to): 

  • Be responsible for scheduling and managing the EVP of Commercial’s & Company President’s calendars, including prioritizing and resolving related conflicts and competing demands, proactively scheduling important meetings with internal and external individuals, and maintaining sufficient blocks of work time 
  • Organize and coordinate international/domestic travel and related requirements including travel authorization, flight tickets, hotel bookings, visas, airport transfers and expense reports 
  • Provide support in arranging executive meetings including coordination of presenters’ presentation materials, slides, notes and/or briefing notes, handling logistics, such as conference registration, room reservation (internal and external), and local travel
  • Undertake special assignments/projects on a wide variety of issues as requested
  • Prepare first-drafts of presentations and materials; collect and harmonize materials from different groups when creating larger presentations
  • Coordinate, plan and organize small to large scale meetings on behalf of the leaders
  • Coordinate VIP site visits
  • Provide a top-notch experience for external partners through highly respectful, professional, warm, and organized interactions 
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned 

 

What You Will Bring: 

  • A degree in business management or related field or comparable experience in administrative services 
  • A minimum of 5 years supporting C-Level Executives
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage calendars and effectively maintain electronic records and files
  • Experience in organizing meetings, preparing, and monitoring budgets, expenses, expense reports and assisting with travel accommodations
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional, friendly, and cordial relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and external partners and investors
  • Highly resourceful team player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Expert level written and verbal communications
  • Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and proofreading
  • Ability to understand and interpret policies and procedures as well as use judgement when policies are not yet in place
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Google Office Suite and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), Docusign, and Envoy

This role is hybrid and necessitates being on-site at our Alameda HQ three days per week. The estimated annual salary range for this role is $95,000 to $135,000 and it would be eligible for Rondo's excellent benefits listed above plus additional compensation in the form of equity. Please note that some pay bands may have wide ranges of compensation to accommodate candidates' diverse sets of skill levels and experience.
