The Solar Asset Analyst will monitor Solar Landscape’s solar plants to ensure optimal performance of the portfolio.  Overall responsibilities will include project monitoring, performance analysis, preventive and corrective maintenance coordination, and collaborating with other departments to support corporate goals.
The Solar Asset Analyst will report to the Director of Asset Management and will work closely with the Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Engineering, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

    •        Monitor all Solar Landscape solar power plants daily, comparing output to expected and working to ensure all system are performing at or above forecasted production
    •        Investigate issues and initiate actions to improve portfolio performance
    •        Track all system alerts and work with the with O&M team to prioritize and coordinate site visits and system repairs
    •        Optimize monitoring platforms to improve capabilities and response time
    •        Prepare system reports for internal and external reporting
    •        Optimize and improve reporting tools and templates
    •        Upload and track system production for SREC and TREC activities
    •        Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual maintenance activities
    •        Schedule and coordinate 3rd party maintenance efforts
    •        Oversee warranty claims, including submitting claims and tracking progress
    •        Support project construction closeout and the transition from construction to operation

Qualifications

    •        4-year degree required, B.S. in STEM field preferred
    •        0-3 years of relevant solar experience
    •        Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    •        Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    •        Advanced computer skills especially in Excel (Microsoft Office)
    •        Ability to read and interpret project and contract specifications
    •        Understanding of electrical and civil engineering drawings
    •        Ability to interface with different levels and functions of the organization as well as with external parties such as banks, lawyers, customers, and contractors
    •        Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
    •        Ability to undertake complex tasks
    •        Project oriented with a goal to complete assignments on time
    •        Organizational and process orientation skills to clearly maintain project documentation, correspondence, and related files
