Job Description

Pachama is looking for a Client Partner to help Fortune 1000 companies achieve their ESG and decarbonization goals. You will be focused on landing new clients by developing relationships with corporate sustainability leaders, mapping out their decision-making processes, and matching Pachama solutions to their ESG strategies. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated interest in climate tech, and a track record of success in unstructured, startup environments.

Pachama brings the latest technology in remote sensing and AI to the world of forest carbon in order to enable forest conservation and restoration to scale. Pachama’s core technology harnesses satellite imaging with artificial intelligence to measure carbon captured in forests. Through the Pachama marketplace, companies and individuals can connect with carbon credits from projects that are protecting and restoring forests worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Gain command of the Pachama message, and become an area expert on the company’s forest monitoring, procurement, and project origination software solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales Development to move prospects through the sales funnel
  • Develop and nurture relationships with Fortune 1000 sustainability leaders and their ESG consultancy partners
  • Manage stakeholder relationships by creating organization and decision-making maps
  • Exceed quarterly sales targets by closing new accounts, and collaborate with Client Success Managers to upsell existing ones
  • Aggregate and distill client feedback for cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Operations, and Product Management 
  • Partner with Client Success to manage renewal risk and overdeliver on client expectations

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have Many Of The Following

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience selling to VP and C-level executives
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience, with a track record of strong attainment
  • Track record of success selling into Fortune 500 companies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior sustainability sales experience preferred
