FS Engineer (Deforestation Monitoring Solution)

Role Description:

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer to join our passionate team at Argus. It's important to note that this is an equity-vested position; we are not planning to provide monetary compensation at this stage. As a Full Stack Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass the development and maintenance of both front-end and back-end web applications. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our software aligns seamlessly with the needs of our customers and the overarching business objectives. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in translating visual designs into functional user interfaces.

We are looking for an additional core team member to expand our technical capabilities; to be involved in key decision-making, product strategy etc. 

We are specifically looking for a candidate with expertise in:

- Front-End Development using technologies such as React, Vue, or deck.gl, along with proficiency in Redux.
- Architecting and developing serverless solutions that seamlessly integrate products within and across cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) to deliver exceptional value to both internal and external customers.
- Comfort in working within a distributed, startup team environment.
- Experience in developing enterprise software.
- Collaborating with design, product, and front-end engineers to build robust APIs that underpin key functionality and use cases.
- Active participation in efforts to improve engineering standards, enhance tooling, and refine processes.
