Job Description

Join the Test Team based in Kemble as an Structural Test Engineer and help us to achieve our mission of pioneering electric aviation.What success will look like for you, as an Structural Test Engineer? 

As an, Structural Test Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with the structural test rig design engineers and test technicians starting from the design phase of the rig till to the end of test execution. This role will have elements of “hands on” work, with the assistance of our skilled technicians.

You will be working closely with the structures function and numerous product teams to identify the structural tests needed and develop pragmatic plans to provide the results on-time.

You will be taking responsibility for the test rig assembly and test execution which will be vital for our continued development of our in-house expertise, specialist knowledge and capabilities.

What would we like you to bring.

We want you to be successful in your role, in order to achieve this, you will need to have an basic understanding of assembly methods and design considerations. Additionally, you will need good skills / knowledge of aerospace testing methods, as well as strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues across a wide range of technical disciplines. Ideally you will have gained this experience from either Aerospace or Automotive sectors.
