As the Social Media & Science Copywriter of InPlanet, you will be the curator and guardian of our brand's written presence, in alignment with our brand's tone of voice and strategy, as we scale our communications and level of awareness. Your mission: to weave captivating stories and craft persuasive, trustworthy copy that resonates with our audience across various marketing channels. From websites and emails to social media and advertisements, you'll play a key role in elevating our brand and engaging our community. You would play a pivotal role in translating our often complex science and research operations into all types of media including blog posts, science illustrations and more. We take our science extremely seriously and we feel responsible for spreading our knowledge and the amazing milestones of enhanced rock weathering and the value it adds to our communities in Brazil.
Copywriting: Produce high-quality persuasive and engaging content for various social networking platforms (pinned comments, descriptions, etc), to promote InPlanet, and increase awareness of ERW.
Science & Research: Show interest and be curious about enhanced rock weathering, and the farmers working with us. Deep dive into the fascinating details of the Carbon Removal World.
Research and understand the target audience and personas, adapting the language and tone of writing according to their needs and preferences. Industry trends.
Collaboration with InPlanet Studio Team to develop effective communication strategies; and to develop effective campaigns.
Proofreading and editing: Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency. High level of attention to detail.
SEO Optimization: Use analytics to gain interesting insights and comments on your writing. Optimise web content for search engines to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to our website.
Storytelling: Develop persuasive narratives that resonate with our audience, building emotional connections and trust.
Brand consistency : Maintaining a consistent brand voice and style.
Studying or having completed higher education in Advertising, Design, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Research, Science or similar (preferred), but having the ability to adapt to multi-disciplinary scenarios where your input is needed, alongside passion, attitude and experience matter most.
Proficient in English, with excellent writing abilities and a keen eye for grammatical detail.

Writing enthusiast with prior experience in a comparable capacity.
Excellent understanding of the key social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram).
