About the position

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate UI/UX Product Designer with 2-4 years of experience to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our AI-powered vessel optimisation platforms. Your expertise in UX research, persona creation, and A/B testing will be critical in ensuring our products meet and exceed user expectations.


What will you do:

  • Conduct in-depth user research, including interviews and surveys in order to create detailed user personas and journey maps, to gain a deep understanding of user needs and pain points.

  • Provide suggestion on user flows, design, implement and conduct and A/B testing for gathering data on user interactions and iteratively improve product features that align with users’ goals.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business experts and customer success managers to translate user insights into design solutions.

  • Continuously monitor user feedback and analytics data to refine and optimize the user experience.

  • Design user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, following best practices in UX design.

  • Work with engineers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and provide guidance throughout the development process.


The Product Department is responsible for ensuring that our products have the necessary functionality to be adopted by our target customers and used by them effectively to make their vessels more efficient. They ensure our products provide our users tangible value and an enjoyable experience. They act as a bridge between the Revenue and Engineering sides of the company. They analyse user, product and business requirements, write specifications for necessary improvements, and collaborate closely with our engineering teams to ensure they get implemented. They coordinate deliverables and their dependencies using task management tools. They create and maintain the product roadmap, and comprehensive product documentation for internal and external users.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 2-4 years of proven experience in UX research, persona creation, and A/B testing.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and interaction design.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • A portfolio showcasing previous examples of UX research, persona creation, and A/B testing.
