About the Position:
Brooklyn SolarWorks is actively searching for an enthusiastic and dynamic Inside Sales Associate to become an integral part of our vibrant Sales team. In this role, you'll be the initial point of contact for potential customers, presenting the advantages of adopting solar energy and coordinating appointments with qualified homeowners for consultations. It's important to note that this position is not remote.
Our primary goal is to establish a strong connection with homeowners and increase the number of approved leads directed to the Outside Sales Team. Achieving this involves fostering a personable and engaging interaction during phone calls, while also addressing any inquiries or concerns raised by the individuals contacted. The anticipated duration of each call is approximately 2-4 minutes.
As part of our commitment to your success, we provide comprehensive training in solar concepts and solar sales, ensuring that you are well-equipped to excel in your role and contribute to the growth of our team.
Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of calls, emails, and texts to qualify leads and schedule a phone appointment with a Solar Consultant.
Contact and educate homeowners, who have expressed an interest in solar via multiple lead sources.
Assess homeowners’ qualifications according to BSW’s evaluations through qualifying questions, and Google Maps.
Keeping a record of appointments made in the company’s CRM and dialer software.
Extend high quality customer service, answering questions about Brooklyn SolarWorks and the solar industry.
Develop leads and referrals to reach monthly sales quotas
Required Skills
High school diploma required.
1-2 years of sales or customer service experience.
In-depth knowledge of solar equipment and installations.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and a friendly disposition.
Ability to relate technical information in easy-to-understand terms.
Ability to work independently and under moderate supervision.
Strong relation-building skills.
Strong computer and technological skills.
Preferred Skills
A passion for Brooklyn Solar Work’s mission.
CRM experience (salesforce and Quickbase).
Dialer experience.
Compensation & Mobility Potential:
$20-$25/hr plus commission
