Social Media Intern

Are you a talented individual who wants to help take our exciting climate initiative to the next level? 

General Counsel Sustainability Leaders is looking for a new part-time volunteer to create content, co-ordinate our social media platforms, and boost engagement with our network!

This is a really exciting time as we’ve just changed our name from ‘Lawyers for Net Zero’.  This is because we now focus on only those in-house lawyers that are at the top of their corporation’s legal team: the General Counsel, also known as Chief Legal Officers.

As a volunteer Social Media Intern, you are responsible for managing the LinkedIn pages of our CEO, Adam Woodhall, and the company, creating engaging content and maintaining our style and narrative in posts.  

Additionally, you are responsible for increasing engagement with our network and followers, as well as any other relevant administrative tasks that Adam may request. 

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing punchy, eye-catching copy and content for, and managing the day-to-day running of the General Counsel Sustainability Leaders company LinkedIn page and our CEO Adam’s personal page.
• Increase overall audience engagement and LinkedIn activity, through regular and consistent posting.
• Monitoring engagement analytics to help us develop editorially and grow our audience.
• Ad hoc tasks that fall into this category e.g., additional research, creating simple graphics for LinkedIn posts, making edits to our website, etc. 
• Monitor the notifications and DMs of both the Company and CEO's LinkedIn pages, responding where appropriate, and notifying the CEO when his attention is required.

FURTHER INFO:

• NO legal experience required for the role.
• Our main social media platform at the moment is LinkedIn, however the role does not requires extensive experience in it.
• You will be mentored and managed by our CEO.

 YOUR COMMITMENT:

• Ideally, we are looking for somebody to volunteer for a 3-month period minimum.
• As a start-up non-profit, our revenue is currently limited. So whilst this is a volunteer role currently, we intend for this role to be paid later this year.
