Who is Minviro?
We are a life cycle assessment (LCA) SaaS and consultancy start-up currently providing products and services to the raw material and battery industries, making sure that the ingredients required for a low-carbon society are sourced at minimum environmental cost.
The transition to a low-carbon economy will require a significant amount of raw materials. We are passionate about ensuring these are sourced in an environmentally responsible way. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company during its rapid growth phase, having secured private investment, and both European and UK grants, whilst also tackling a fundamental societal challenge.
We have doubled in size in 2022 and again in 2023, with a key aspect of our development lying within researching new market sectors and emerging technologies whilst delivering tangible products and crucial life cycle impact insights to global supply chain players.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will have an important role to play in the growth of Minviro as we expand and scale. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings for our sales team . You will work closely with our CEO, Product Manager and the sales and marketing team to identify potential customers and develop outreach strategies to engage with them. Your focus will be on connecting to technical buyers in the battery supply chain and raw materials space, with a primary aim to introduce them to our Battery LCA (life cycle assessment) software. You will also connect with our Consultancy team to ensure the leads you generate get the services they need.
What will you be doing?
Generating qualified leads through a mix of inbound and outbound prospecting.
Utilising various methods and platforms to discover and research qualified leads.
Having ‘discovery’ conversations with the client and qualifying the sales opportunity.
Generate prospecting lists of decision-makers in target accounts using compliant and accurate contact data
Organising meetings to connect clients to our technical sales team.
Forging relevant and meaningful messages that are engaging to potential clients.
Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
What we’re looking for (the essentials):
6 months - 1 years+ of Sales Development / B2B Sales experience, though this is an entry level role
An aptitude for and interest in B2B sales
Previous experience of LinkedIn SalesNav, CRM, sales enablement tools, and sales intelligence to improve processes is desirable but not required
Outstanding phone presence with the ability to build trust with prospective clients
Self-motivated, resilient and competitive; driven to reach and exceed individual and team goals
The ability to quickly identify relevant client personas and understand where we can provide value
Effective team player
Highly motivated and tenacious individual, with a proven ability to take initiative
Ability to establish strong working relationships both internally and externally, across all levels
Willingness to spend 3 days per week in the London office
