Funding & Investor Relations Analyst

As Funding & Investor Relations Analyst your prime responsibility will be to support us in raising institutional funding necessary for Fastned to fund its ambitious growth. You do this, hand-in-hand with the Head of F&IR and the CFO, by considering what the best institutional funding options are for Fastned, and take a supporting role in realising them. Over the last few years, Fastned realised a 150 million euro accelerated bookbuild, a 50 million euro partnership with French government bank CDC and a 75 million euro equity private placement with Schroders’ infrastructure fund. We expect you to support these types of transactions and consider new options.

A key responsibility will be to analyse data and prepare presentation material for discussions with institutional investors and coverage analysts, with the ultimate goal of explaining the attractiveness of the Fastned business case. Fast charging networks are a new business model in a rapidly growing market. A key challenge is to explain this new business model, in a new market, conducted by a young company.

The funding & investor relations team currently comprises one retail and one institutional manager. You will be directly reporting to the Head of F&IR. 

In order to be successful in this role you bring along an entrepreneurial hands-on mentality, combined with an innovative and analytical mindset. You think like a founder and surprise us with canny solutions.
Additionally, you tick the following boxes:
⚡️ Experience in, corporate finance, corporate banking and/or management consulting;
⚡️ Communication and presentation making skills (expertise in google slides and/or power point is a must;
⚡️ Analytical and financial modeling skills (expertise in excel is a must, SQL or other is a plus);
⚡️ Experience with funding documentation is a plus;
⚡️ Strong attention to detail;
⚡️Team player: eagerness to work in a focussed, driven and inclusive team;
⚡️Professional proficiency in English is a must - Dutch, German and/or French language skills would be a great to have;
⚡️Previous experience with EV charging is considered a bonus.
