We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist in our Data Science team to join us on this exciting journey!


Your mission
As our Lead Data Scientist at Prewave, you will…

• Drive strategic data initiatives for actionable business insights
• Lead and mentor team in advanced analytics, machine learning and deep learning
• Communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders and ensure data privacy
• Analyze and understand our large variety of data using natural language processing
• Independently derive learnings, generates hypotheses and identifies optimization potentials
• Use and develop machine learning technologies like Torch and Tensorflow
• Transfer and maintain developed solutions in a productive environment
• Manage, monitor and upgrade the performance and precision of your models
• Identify and integrate new data sources
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify business issues, develop analytical fixes and put into practise

Your profile

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field for foundational knowledge

• Proficiency in Python and a JVM-based language (Java, Scala) for versatile programming

• Strong knowledge of Torch or TensorFlow frameworks for deep learning implementation

• Expertise in natural language processing techniques for text data analysis and understanding

• In-depth grasp of advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms

• Proven experience in leading data science projects, managing teams, and delivering actionable insights

Bonus points for

• Knowledge of Scala

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) for scalable data solutions

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) to facilitate reproducibility and deployment

• Knowledge of NoSQL database systems

• Knowledge of agile software development techniques

What we offer you

• An extensive compensation package
  According to our collective agreement, the minimum salary for this role is EUR 3,551 gross per month, however the higher packages are likely based on your qualifications and experience.
