Role

We are actively seeking a visionary and innovative Software Architect to join our dynamic team and shape the future of our software initiatives. In this unique dual-role position, you will contribute significantly to our machine development activities while also taking on responsibility of our Software Competence Group. 

As our Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and establishing foundational software layers within our machine development team. Your responsibilities include driving the advancement of our software engineering capabilities, emphasizing robustness and scalability, and translating architectural concepts into scalable implementations. Operating both autonomously and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the evolution of software and architectural projects.

In addition to your contributions as an Architect, you will have the opportunity to be involved in competence development within our software group. While not the primary focus, your involvement in fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and knowledge sharing within the group is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish foundational software layers within our machine development team.

• Drive the advancement of our software engineering capabilities, emphasizing robustness and scalability.

• Translate software and architectural concepts from design to scalable implementations.

• Lead the evolution of software and architectural projects, ensuring rapid delivery with high standards of quality and reliability.

• Engage in dynamic software testing, identifying issues, reporting findings, and suggesting innovative solutions.

• Operate both autonomously and as a key player within interdisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and championing innovative, top-tier software solutions.

• Identify and fulfill the competence group's needs and expertise, providing guidance in both people and competence development.

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

• Holds a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Brings a strong background in machine development.

• Possesses deep expertise in software architecture, covering PLC programming, embedded device software engineering, and integration into IoT platforms.

• Demonstrates exceptional leadership skills in guiding, mentoring, and elevating team members.

• Has a proven track record in architecting robust software solutions, showcasing reliability and scalability.

• Is a systematic thinker with advanced problem-solving capabilities.

• Demonstrates outstanding communication skills to foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
