About this role :
We are currently looking for our future Metrology Leader to join our teams based at our future gigafactory located in Bourbourg, on the outskirts of Dunkirk (North of France).
As part of our product/process quality team, you’ll have the opportunity to fully design, develop & maintain best in class quality laboratories for our innovation center & Gigafactory that will support production and product/process validation.
You'll have to closely work with our product & process teams to manage metrology planning & support operations with measurements & quality controls.

Main responsibilities :
- Design QC laboratories at Dunkirk gigafactory
- Build & manage metrology teams.
- Qualify the measurement systems.
- Support product and process with measurements & quality controls
- Maintain laboratory equipment
- Manage QC data with LIMS
- Continuous improvement of labs tooling & processes
Requirements for this role :
- Material science / Mechanical / Chemical Engineer
- 5 years of experience in engineering quality (product validation, Metrology, SPC, gauges R&R)
- 3 years of experience with battery design or electronics production
- 3 years of experience with automotive or aerospace processes
- Proven track records in laboratory equipment selection and commissioning, in-line with planning constraints.
- Professional English & French
- Knowledge of ISO 17025
