We are currently looking for you to join as a Development Engineer E/E (m/f/d) for our R&D department! Your mission

• Development of vehicle wiring harnesses and their architecture from concept to series production

• Construction and laying of cable sets in the given installation space

• Dimensioning and design of fastening and protective elements

• Change and variant management

• Creation and maintenance of parts lists

• Preparation and execution of releases

• Central contact person between various specialist departments, suppliers and production department

• Development of concepts and components for high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including their connection, location and supply in new electrical system architectures

• Systematic recording of fault points on cable sets

• Carrying out error analyzes and developing optimizations regarding packages, cost savings, ergonomics, etc.

• Documentation of usage, conversions and changes

• Troubleshooting vehicles

Your profile

• Degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification (e.g. technician with professional experience in the field of wiring harnesses)

• Good understanding of vehicle technology in the area of vehicle electrics, wiring and wiring harness components

• Knowledge of electrical system development processes such as L-Dorado, CATIA V5 or Siemens NX is desirable

• Knowledge of change management and basic knowledge of supplier management

• Business fluent in both German and English

• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor

• Craftsmanship and knowledge in the field of vehicle electrics
