ESG Flo emerged from Bain &amp; Company's Venture Incubator, where advisors consistently observed their clients struggling with sustainability compliance and data collection. Our software optimizes data extraction, validation, and transformation to make ESG reporting seamless. We were founded in 2022 and are headquartered in New York City, receiving seed round funding from Bain &amp; Company and other top VCs.
 What will I be doing?&nbsp; You will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients on their sustainability journeys. For prospective clients, you will act as the subject matter expert in sustainability reporting and work with them to identify&nbsp; how ESG Flo can best support them. You will spearhead consulting engagements with existing clients such as Double Materiality Assessments, Science-Based Target Setting, Scope 3 Emissions Calculations, writing Anti-Slavery Policy Documents, and improving DEI data collection processes. With the Product team, you will provide valuable insights into client needs, prioritize features, and co-design solutions.
 To be more specific, you will:
1. Be a subject matter expert in sales conversations
<ul>
<li>Participate in later-stage sales conversations with prospective clients to better understand their sustainability challenges.</li>
<li>Provide insights into immediate collaboration opportunities with ESG Flo.</li>
<li>Ideate with prospective clients on areas of mutual growth and development.</li>
<li>Synthesize insights to pass on to Customer Success and Product teams.</li>
</ul>
2. Lead consulting engagements depending on client needs
<ul>
<li>Conduct workshops, review survey results, and hold interviews as necessary to produce a double materiality assessment or science-based targets.</li>
<li>Conduct workshops to support clients in writing Social and Governance documents, such as anti-slavery policies and protection of indigenous people.</li>
<li>Project manage the data collection efforts for Scope 3. Work with analysts and AI/ML resources to identify the best match emission factors and continuously improve ESG Flo&rsquo;s internal matching algorithm.</li>
</ul>
3. Serve as a sustainability thought partner for clients
<ul>
<li>Participate in all client meetings and support their ongoing sustainability initiatives where needed.</li>
<li>Identify areas for organizational and process changes to set clients up for future success.</li>
<li>Ideate ways ESG Flo can provide further support and actively flag upsell opportunities.</li>

4. Be a feature development partner for Product
<ul>
<li>Support the Product organization with new ideas and industry insights.</li>
<li>Contribute the industry and client perspective in prioritizing features.</li>
<li>Participate in co-creation workshops with Product Managers and Designers.</li>
