People Operations Lead

In the next 50 years, the world will rebuild or refurbish every part of the built environment to be climate positive grid connected infrastructure. Knowing what, where, and how to build infrastructure like solar farms is one of the great opportunities of our time.

Paces is software for green infrastructure developers to identify the best places to build and manage their projects. We have paying renewable energy, EV charging, carbon sequestration and data center customers and are rapidly growing revenue. We are venture backed from Resolute Ventures & Y Combinator and have an office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

We are growing rapidly and are looking for a people operations lead to join us as our first people hire! 

 

🏆 What You’ll Achieve

• Enhance our hiring and people operations as we attract and retain world class talent.

• Manage payroll, employee benefits and ensure compliance for our team.

• Organizing logistics for company events, conferences, and travel in general.

• Own vendor relationships including office management.

• Collaborate closely with our CEO as we scale our people operations.

✨ Requirements 

• +3 years of experience in people operations/HR for an early stage tech startup

• Have iterated and improved on hiring tactics and strategies 

• Exceptional ability to organize and execute on a variety of operational goals

• Amazing communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and making complex projects understandable and approachable.

• Incredibly proactive, have the ability to identify and solve minor issues before they become major issues

• Have hired and managed vendors, contractors.
