Founding Engineer / Full Stack Architect

Our advanced calculator provides robust impact metrics and savings and gamifies participation with goals, levels and team competitions. Our platform is white labeled and provides companies, organizations and cities tools to drive participation and make an impact on climate change.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Opportunity</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are looking for our Founding Engineer who is as passionate as we are about advancing climate solutions. We have had great success with our MVP and it is time to build on it. As our Full Stack Lead Architect, you will lead and implement the strategy for evolving our SaaS platform. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will design and develop a new framework for our current application that is flexible, scalable, uses cloud native technologies, ensures reliability, and can be deployed easily for new customers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What you will be doing:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work directly with the rest of the founding team to design, develop and evolve the architecture of our SaaS application</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Grow and mentor the development team</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Design and develop new features from concept to deployment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build a continuous integration pipeline that enforces stability and scalability in code development</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Requirements:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years Full Stack development experience building SaaS applications</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">BS in Computer Science or related field</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience and interest in designing and creating simple, elegant and scalable applications</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with React and Python/Django or Javascript/Node.js or similar, Typescript is a plus</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Early stage startup and lead/mentorship experience a plus</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience working with SaaS cloud architecture on Google Cloud</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are looking for a self-starter who is excited by the challenge of developing new tools in a startup environment!</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Part time to start (5-10 hours/week) with stock options.
