About the Job

Fastmarkets is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Revenue Operations Manager to join the Revenue Operations team. This person will partner with senior leaders across the Revenue Organization. You will be a trusted and fully engaged advisor, focused on business operational activities, strategic planning, GTM optimization, and you will be relentless in your pursuit of assessing revenue opportunities. This is a high visibility, high impact role, with rapidly changing priorities. This role requires a high degree of both technical and commercial acumen. You will report to the Director of Revenue Operations and benefit from the full support of that team, with a dotted line to the Sales Director.

The ideal candidate has strong strategic and analytical thinking combined with leadership skills to drive change. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and a history of driving results. Most importantly, the candidate will drive, through strong relationships and excellent communication, alignment across stakeholders to execute key initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Serve as the Revenue Operations thought partner for the Sales Directors
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to accurately forecast revenue, aligning with team targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Develop and present comprehensive sales performance reports to executive management.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales metrics to identify trends and provide strategic insights.
  • Enhance visibility for the commercial leadership team regarding potential risks and opportunities in revenue forecasts.
  • Lead the forecasting process, and help setting sales targets.
  • Oversee adjustments such as target swaps, quota reliefs, and territory reassignments.
  • Act as the primary Salesforce support contact, escalating complex issues to the adequate team.
  • Ensure rigorous data management in CRM, emphasizing Salesforce as the definitive data source.
  • Collaborate with the sales enablement team to bolster training and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain the role of Salesforce data steward, actively monitoring pipeline integrity.
  • Execute, plan and lead Quarterly Business Reviews, create templates, help with data population and ensure the sessions are action oriented and insightful.
  • Support the Commission Optimization team in calculating sales compensation and suggesting enhancements.
  • Scrutinize pricing exceptions and discount discipline to safeguard profit margins.
