Diamond Foundry is seeking an individual with expertise in RF and microwave engineering to advance its state-of-the-art equipment used for diamond growth. This individual will be designing new high-power microwave systems and diagnostics to improve the efficiency and control of our reactors. The position requires a successful candidate to be onsite.

Responsibilities:

Architect new high power microwave components and systems, including high-power amplifiers as well as passive waveguide components.
Guide internal vs. external design decisions.
Develop microwave diagnostics for reactor health monitoring.

Requirements:

MSEE preferred, BSEE required with 5+ years of industry experience.
A track record of creative problem-solving and successful delivery of new products and system designs.
Ability to architect a complete power amplifier design including analysis, component selection, circuit design, and board and system-level testing.
Hands-on experience with RF/microwave equipment used in the test of microwave components and amplifiers (VNAs, signal generators, diodes, load-pull measurements, etc.)
Proficiency in a full-wave electromagnetic design tool (HFSS, CST MWS, or COMSOL) and proficiency with other circuit design/layout tools.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:

-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.

-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs

-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls

-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
