POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Manager at Inspire will support Inspire’s top tier employment experience by creating a premium and engaging office environment. They will drive office operations, coordinate new hire onboarding, and support planning and execution of culture events and initiatives.
THE COMMUNITY MANAGER HAS 5 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Office Operations: manage the day-to-day office operations within a sustainable and green framework. Greet and support candidates, guests, and employees to ensure the office is warm and runs efficiently
- Relationship Building & Insights: build relationships with team members across the organization and gather insights that will drive strategy to better support the employee experience
- Culture Initiatives and Events: plan events and initiatives that enhance the experience of Avenger’s and are representative of our Mission and traditions.
- Workplace Safety: Support Inspire’s return to work plan in accordance with LA County Covid-19 requirements. Employees are set to return to a hybrid work model in the fall and our Community Manager will need to be onsite to lead employees through our system and ensure our facilities are safe and ready.
- Mission Impact and Sustainability: bring Inspire’s Mission to life by implementing programs that support our commitment to reducing/offsetting harmful emissions.
SOME YEAR 1 DELIVERABLES
- Maintain Santa Monica offices with processes grounded in efficiency and organization 100% of the time
- Execute a safe & effective Hybrid Model office launch
- Plan and execute a Halloween Traditional Gathering
- Plan and execute an end of year Holiday Party
- Generate content and present the Community segment of our biweekly all hands
- Execute Inspire’s Santa Monica Office revamp initiatives in accordance with all internal & building stakeholders to create a more collaborative office
- Coordinate Inspire’s volunteerism partners & projects on a bimonthly basis
- Building strong & trusting relationships with Santa Monica employees across departments and levels to support strategic event & initiative decisions
- Contribute to Community Events strategy to build a cadence of events with high engagement
- Coordinate 2+ 2022 Givepower Treks to ensure for a safe and seamless trip for the selected Avengers (in partnership with Director of Sustainability)

- Facility efficiency & organization
- 100% of facility necessities are filled
- 100% of COI are approved prior to vendor entry
- 100% of facilities stakeholders (internal & external) are informed about essential facility changes, events, or updates with 24 hours notice

EXPERIENCE
- Must Have
- Must be available to work in our Santa Monica office 100% of the time
- 2+ years of office management, administrative, and/or customer service or hospitality experience
- Experience public speaking or conducting presentations to large audience; strong comfortability acting in a front facing role
- Experience working in a collaborative setting with stakeholders across teams and levels
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Nice to Have
- Advanced user of Google G Suite or Microsoft Office Suite
- Event management for up to 100 attendees preferred
- HR experience is a plus
- Experience in a customer/client facing role
