Junior Legal Counsel

Your role

Fastned is rapidly expanding its network of fast charging stations across Europe and is looking to strengthen the central Legal team with a Junior Legal Counsel. In this role you will work with our legal team and a bunch of other stakeholders within the business on all kinds of legal topics.

Your overall responsibility include:

• You will assist in a wide range of corporate legal activities. Think of corporate housekeeping tasks (drafting intercompany documentation) but also helping with all kinds of financing documentation such as loan documentation and prospectuses.
• You will assist in drafting a wide range of commercial and lease contracts for the Dutch market.
• You will provide support for tenders in the Netherlands by assessing documentation and supplying legal document 
• You will help us with further improvement of the compliance programme within Fastned

We are looking for a curious, flexible, independent and solution oriented person to support our legal team. As the circumstances develop rapidly you need to be able to adapt quickly, and be willing to step in where needed. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

• You have completed a Master's degree in Dutch law;
• You may have gained some working experience in the legal field;
• You have a strong preference to become an in-house legal counsel and are driven to accelerate the energy transition;
• You have good writing skills for drafting contracts and you are precise;
• You speak and write fluent Dutch and English;
• You are a team player, enjoy working in an international environment, have the ability to think on your own feet and are comfortable taking initiative and responsibility.
