Description
Reusable launch systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. An instrumental ingredient to making reusable launch vehicles is the ability to move fast. That is our goal for Boltline, our SaaS software that helps advanced hardware manufacturing teams design, track, iterate, build and test in a fast and reliable manner. As a Full Stack Software Development Engineer on the Boltline by Stoke Space Team, you will be responsible for building complete Features, from front end components to backend data models, enabling hardware teams to build fast with confidence. The ideal candidate will possess solid computer science fundamentals, experience in full stack development with an emphasis on delivering with quality. They also have the curiosity and desire to learn skills quickly and work collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities
Implement fully tested features using React, GraphQL, Typescript and Postgres
Write maintainable code with unit, integration and end to end tests
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet design specifications
Contribute to excellence in operations including maintaining and improving our CI pipeline and independently supporting an on-call shift
Learning and growing with new technologies and emerging trends
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field / experience
1-2 years of experience in software development
Experience with some combination of React, Next.js, GraphQL, Typescript and Postgres
Ability to interpret product requirements and iterate on technical design
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation
Target Levels:
Level 2 Range: $117,600 - $176,400
Level 3 Range: $147,000 - $220,500
Level 4 Range: $183,700 - $275,600

Your actual level and base salary will be decided based on your specific experience and skill level.
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
