Full Stack Developer (60-100%)

Role Overview: As a Full Stack Developer at Hyphen, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our dMRV platform, working autonomously in a rapidly evolving environment. You'll work on both the front-end user interface, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients, and the back-end infrastructure that powers our data processing and analysis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and sustainability, eager to contribute to climate change solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance our front-end web applications.

• Develop and implement robust data pipelines to seamlessly ingest, process, and integrate data from a wide range of sources, ensuring data consistency and reliability across our platform's services.

• Create intuitive and insightful data visualizations to communicate complex environmental information

• Collaborate with backend teams to design and consume API endpoints.

• Work with research scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into functional features.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Contribute to the planning and implementation of new features with a focus on usability and performance.

• Maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure platform reliability and performance.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and SQL.

• Experience with frontend technologies including React and NextJS.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred, or AWS, Azure).

• A proactive and independent work style, capable of taking initiative in a remote setting.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• A background or strong interest in geospatial technology, atmospheric sciences or geosciences.
