This position is a parental substitution for 1 year. We would like that the person starts as soon as possible with temporary contract till end of September 2025.
Master Data Management (MDM) is the cornerstone of effective data governance within our organization that identify data as its asset. It builds structured approach to handling data by ensuring consistency and accuracy across various systems Stora Enso use in its application landscape. Like a conductor leading an orchestra, MDM brings together diverse data sources, interpret its differences into final golden records that can be trusted and used further enabling businesses to make informed decisions and drive innovation.
We are now looking for a Master Data Specialist to join our Data Quality team in Global Business Services.
You will perform master data process maintenance activities and transactional tasks and ensure accuracy of the data and efficiency of operations in finance or customer/vendor area primarily.
Your tasks will include:
- Providing support to different stakeholders in an efficient and accurate manner
- Solving more complex queries and issues related to MDM process
- Keeping care of process documentation
- Performing more complex accounting operations in multiple fields, also related to period-end closings
- Collaborating with other units in GBS, HQ and Divisions on continuous process and tool improvement
- Having direct impact on MDM tool configuration/development

You can be located in Ostrava, Czechia or Tallin, Estonia.
You will report to the Manager, Data Quality.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with experience in master data area. Person that will be capable to work very well in a team as well as capable to work independently on entrusted tasks after training. You will work also close to business colleagues and your capability to analyze business demand and define it to our vendors is an asset. In this position we are not requiring any frequent traveling.
Skills/Experience we expect you to have:
- Experience with master data systems or other relevant business products
- Advantage of previous experience with SAP Master Data
- Fluent English
Additional skills/experiences that will help you succeed in this role:
- Willingness to learn new things outside of your normal area of expertise
- Experience with process automation, process design and process improvements
- Ability to work in an agile environment focused on team work
- Understanding of most commonly used data models and data management principles
- Capability to analyze complex business process and structures
