As a Hardware Engineer at Artyc, you will be helping us create the hardware that enables our products with a close-knit and mission-driven team. For the Hardware Engineer at Artyc, we are looking for a leader, a critical thinker, and an effective communicator.

What you’ll do with mentorship from Artyc’s hardware team:

• Design, produce, and debug PCBs
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and design reviews
• Become an expert in our firmware codebase to add features and debug
• Work cross-functionally with mechanical and software engineering counterparts, and collaborate with product, sales, and design teams

Role Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience
• Experience developing, troubleshooting, testing, and bringing to production electronic circuit board designs
• Proficient with standard lab equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering equipment
• Ability to build electromechanical prototypes, perform wiring and cable routing and drawings
• Knowledge of various battery chemistry design and testing protocols
• Familiarity with firmware (in C/C++) development and control systems is a plus
• Competent in Python

Preferred Skills:

• Background with IoT products
• Experience with cellular communications
• Logistics device projects
• Can build architectural documentation
