Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. Work You’ll Do Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premises to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design. • 50% Travel required nationally • Telecommuting permitted • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have two years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires two years of related work experience in each of the following: • Utilizing Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interface (API), RESTful API Modeling Language (RAML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), and OpenAPI Specification (OAS) to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development; • Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira, Git, Microsoft (MS) Virtual Studio Code (VS Code), and Apigee API proxy development; • Utilizing Apigee API Management to design and develop API conversion strategies, as well as facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops; • Recommending, designing, and implementing API Management and Integration services on Integration-Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and hybrid solutions; • Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP);• Designing and implementing disaster recovery, storage architecture, and network architecture, utilizing Load Balancer, iRules, router configurations, VIPs, Domain Name System (DNS), Transport Layer Security (TLS), and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates; • Performing root cause analysis and documenting results using Splunk, ELK Stack, Jira, and ServiceNow; and • Deploying custom developed application including, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, production deployment and training, utilizing GitLab, Python, Kubernetes, Shell Scripting, and Ansible.
