Investment Project Manager, BU Western Unit
We are now looking for an Investment Project Manager for Business Unit Western Europe.
As an Investment Project Manager for the Business Unit Western Europe, you will play a critical role in overseeing and executing high-value, large-scale investment projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure these projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be instrumental in conducting feasibility studies, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and managing the overall cost, time, and scope of these projects. Your expertise will support our entities in developing comprehensive CAPEX plans, participating in Steerco meetings, and building robust business cases.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables;
- Identify and manage project risks and issues;
- Manage project budgets and ensure that all expenses are within scope and budget;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams;
- Ensure that all projects comply with company policies, regulations, and quality standards;
- Track project progress and report on project status to senior management;
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement;
- Support the CAPEX process by participating in Steerco meetings and supporting the building of business cases.
What are we looking for?
- A university-level education in finance, business administration, or a related field;
- Ideally, a technical understanding that will allow you to effectively manage the projects;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills;
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Proficiency in the Dutch and German language is an asset;
- Ability to connect, network, and manage stakeholders effectively;
- Experience in building business cases, conducting feasibility studies, and supporting the CAPEX process is desirable.

In 2023, Stora Enso completed the acquisition of the De Jong Packaging Group (now Business Unit Western Europe), one of the largest manufacturers of corrugated packaging in Western Europe (The Netherlands, Germany, UK and Belgium).
