At Perennial, you will work in a mission-driven and collaborative environment alongside a diverse team with backgrounds spanning science, technology, carbon markets, and agriculture.

Location: Remote, USA.
What You'll Own:
- Collaborate with leadership to refine MRV (measurement, reporting, and verification) strategy for scope 3 insetting, sustainable supply chain, and CPG emissions reporting programs.
- Establish and cultivate relationships and partnerships with major input, grain, food, fuel, and fiber companies; Specifically target VPs, SVPs, and C-suite executives who manage portfolios of sustainability and carbon programs internationally; Help multinational agriculture companies monitor, measure, report, and verify soil carbon offset and scope 3 programs.
- Identify Government and PPP (Public-Private Partnerships) to establish, expand, or support sustainable agriculture programs.
- Build new and leverage existing strong relationships with prospects and leaders to position Perennial as a robust science, technology, policy, and thought leader.
- End to end sourcing through account management of major scope 3 insetting partnerships.
- Go-to internal domain expert in strategic conversations and decisions on Scope 3 / insetting.
What You'll Bring:
- A passion for regenerative agriculture and unlocking carbon programs
- 5+ years working in the food and agriculture or agtech industry
- Experience owning and driving complex, international, enterprise deals, with long sales cycles
- Demonstrated sales and/or partnership performance
- Energy and drive
- Comfort with ambiguity
What will make you stand out:
- Exposure to emissions reporting, scope 3, inset, regenerative agriculture, or carbon programs
- Exposure to grant funding including USDA Climate Smart Commodity, RCPP, etc.
- Exposure to grain marketing or crop insurance
- Exposure to compliance or voluntary carbon market standards (ex. ETS, CER, Verra, Gold Standard, Sustaincert, ISO, GHG)
- Startup experience or working within innovative, smaller business units
- International work or deal experience
- Language skills (eg Spanish, Portuguese)
