In this role, you will lead the initiatives from concept through to production, coordinating closely with both our customers and our headquarter cell team. This position is ideal for someone with a robust engineering background and a masterful grasp of project management in the battery cell technology sector.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Directly engage with US OEM customers, driving and coordinating cell development and manufacturing in tandem with the headquarter cell team.<br>Manage projects from conception to production handover, acting as the main point of contact throughout the process.<br>Develop detailed manufacturing program plans, defining strategy, scope, schedule, resources, and cost targets.<br>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the manufacturing program with the planned objectives.<br>Create, maintain, and effectively communicate project schedules to engineering leadership.<br>Identify innovative solutions to overcome project obstacles and maintain schedule adherence.<br>Prioritize and track the progress of cross-functional team tasks, balancing schedule, risk, resources, and outcomes.<br>Qualifications:</p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Master’s Degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.<br>Extensive knowledge and strong industry experience in lithium-ion battery cell technology.<br>Minimum of 5 years in product development or manufacturing, with a mix of engineering and project management roles.<br>Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects for mass-produced products.<br>Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Confluence.<br>Ability to work effectively across functions and manage large teams.<br>Willingness to travel as required for project needs.<br><br></p><p> </p><p> </p><div><div><div><p>Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
