About Us:

Based in Presteigne Mid Wales, Teledyne Labtech is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of RF/Microwave PCB solutions. With over 40 years of experience in RF & Microwave PCB manufacture, we specialise in the supply of metal back PCB, mixed dielectric multilayer PCB and Antenna’s. As part of our capability, we offer full manufacture, assembly, test and project management.

Operating across distinct product groups such as Space, Defence, Satellite Communications, Commercial Aerospace and Medical applications Teledyne Labtech has positioned itself, and is recognised as one fo the worlds leading suppliers of highly technical PCB’s and supports the business strategy of continuous growth and technical innovation.

The manufacturing facility houses some of the most advanced PCB technology in Europe, such as direct imaging technology, autoclave bonding and laser/mechanical/CNC machining centres.

Working at Teledyne Labtech means that you will be joining a dynamic engineering team that is building the communications network of the future, both space based and ground infrastructure.

About You:

As an apprentice you will earn and learn on the job from experienced colleagues to gain job specific skills. You will have the opportunity to develop your professional skills through formal learning at the college and in house training. Obtaining either a HNC at college, one day release or HND in own time whilst being trained and mentored by the Maintenance Manager on the specialist equipment on site. As you work your way through the apprenticeship you will be under the guidance of our experienced engineers who will support you to become a proficient maintenance professional. You will gain hands on experience in responding to breakdowns , installation of new machinery, repairing existing fixtures and many more attributes.

Qualifications:

Four GCSE’s at grade 4 or above; including Maths & English (required)

Basic Electrical (required)

First year college (desirable)
