TÜV SÜD America Inc., a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has an immediate opening in our customer training business.

The Academy SDR position is an opportunity to work in a hands-on role that brings education into the daily operations of the world’s leading manufacturing organizations. This position is designed to expand upon an already robust learning environment by developing training opportunities with new clients. This role will support the Academy by generating new business and increasing sales in new markets.

We are looking for a motivated and aggressive Sales Development Representative who sees real value in bring education into the lives of clients. You should be able to generate leads, close sales, and meet targets while prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

- Cultivate business development activities & sales for specific training topics.

- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends, developments, and best practices across Americas region.

- Communicating with customers, recruiting new customers, following up on leads, meeting sales KPIs.

- Be able to explain courses to potential customers’ questions related to selling courses.

- Keep up with product service information updates.

- Use CRM to manage customer information.

- Upsell services.

- Meet with customers to discuss training needs.

- Close sales and achieve sales targets.

- Be active in meetings and share ideas about what you think would help us to reach more learners.

- The ability to generate 30% of leads required to achieve sales targets.

Academy SDR Position Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or education, or experience working with selling education.

- An aggressive desire to achieve targets.

- Three or more years with proven work experience as an inside sales associate.

- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

- Excellent presentation skills.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Excellent phone and cold calling skills.

- Exceptional customer service skills.

- Great listening skills.
