Your Profile
This position requires technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
That’s why during or after your successfully completed university degree in an engineering field (software, electronics, mechanical) / math or applied physics you’ve gained some experience in embedded systems and/or in software engineering.
Specifically we’re looking for:
- Successfully completed university degree in an engineering field (software, electronics, mechanical), math or applied physics
- Practical knowledge of different communication busses (CAN, LIN, SPI, ISOSPI) and protocols/standards (e.g. J1939, J1979, UDS)
- Experience in testing automotive embedded software and systems as well as in XiL testing techniques is a plus
- Knowledge in ASPICE, ISO26262 and ISO21434 standards is a plus
- Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English)
Your Role and Responsibilities
- You will work as part of an expert team of hard- and software developers and systems engineers on smart battery sensors and battery management systems which are among the world-leading ones regarding safety, features and costs.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop test cases for software and system integration and qualification following ASPICE and ISO 26262/21434 standards
- Plan, execute and analyze test runs for regression and release testing in an agile context
- Provide continuous test feedback to systems and software stakeholders
- Analyze CAN traces in order to narrow down root causes of failed test cases and customer issues
- Help improve XIL test infrastructure, e.g. higher automation in test execution and reporting
