About this role:

The Painter is responsible for applying industrial paint finishes on metals or manufactured products.  You will mix paints and other solutions, monitor drying to ensure desired results. 

A Day In The Life:

  • Operating spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or manufactured products

  • Mixing paints and other solutions

  • Monitoring drying to ensure desired results

  • Completing finishing with baking, polishing or other materials

  • May paint by hand when needed

You Will Thrive In This Role If:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of general work experience

  • Apprenticeship and/or formal training in production painting is a plus

  • Strong organizational/follow-up skills; attention to detail

  • Requires lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 50 lbs

  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily

  • Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Must be a team player willing to take on additional roles as needed

  • Have a good attitude and willingness to learn

  • All job offers are contingent upon receiving a negative drug/alcohol test. This position is subject to random drug testing

  • This position is designated a safety sensitive position and/or is located in a safety sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required

  • Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation Range:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $19-$27/hr. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

As a condition to employment, applicants who receive a job offer are required to submit to a medical evaluation to confirm their ability to wear a respirator.
