Your tasks

• Disciplinary management of a team
• Identification, testing, evaluation and pre-development of new cell technologies in cooperation with benchmarking & scouting
• Generation of corresponding IP and know-how in the technologies in question
• Technological monitoring and support of product and process developments 
• Identification, content-related application and implementation of publicly funded projects in line with the strategic focus
• Establishment and use of a laboratory environment for testing and evaluating new cell technologies in collaboration with Research Engineering and Site Management

Your profile

• Master’s degree in the field of natural sciences (chemistry, physics) or comparable work experience
• Extensive knowledge of lithium-ion batteries and knowledge/ networking within the battery industry
• Strong leadership, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in research and development
• Experience managing teams and budgets
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
• Align roadmaps with other initiatives to ensure that the company achieves its objectives
