Here is why you are going to love this role We are looking for a highly motivated MAIT Engineer (f/m/d) to join our innovative In-Space Manufacturing team.You will join the rapid growth of in-space manufactured infrastructure as the industry calls for increased power for a growing range of applications, like data processing and transmission or in-orbit transportation and servicing. In your role, you will support the development activities of this groundbreaking technology, including the design and production of breadboards, the execution of testing and qualification activities, as well as the assembly and integration of flight hardware. Here is what you bring to the table <ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering </li><li>2 + years experience in working with space hardware  </li><li>Appreciation for craftsmanship and creativity in industrial/mechanical applications    </li><li>Experience with milling and CNC machining   </li><li>Experienced with mechanical design and GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing) </li><li>Demonstrated experience in working in a dynamic and rapidly-paced environment</li><li><div>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment </div></li><li>Fluent in English</li><li><div>Eligible to work in Germany</div></li></ul> Nice-to-have requirements: <ul><li>Familiarity with (new) spatial environment (2+ years) </li><li>You're likely someone who enjoys designing things on your own time, including 3D printing, welding, grinding, and machining</li><li>Knowledge of structural analysis tools (FEM)</li><li>Experienced with mechanisms for high-precision structures (RF or Optical Payloads)</li></ul> Interested?
