Job Description:

Your responsibilities:

• You will develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies, aligning with global Hitachi Energy PGGI SCM and local requirements.

• You will improve, measure, and report SCM KPIs including production availability, networking capital, and cost reduction, actively contribute to the monthly S&OP process with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations and meet financial targets.

• You will create and maintain 18 to 24month demand forecasts for assigned products, ensure demand and supply balance, update on gaps and present mitigation plans.

• You work closely with logistics, export, planning, and SCM teams to ensure seamless operations and maintain inventory parameters in planning systems and ERPs.

• You will collaborate with the planning team to align production schedules with demand forecasts, collaborate with internal partners to resolve supply pipeline issues and ensure customer satisfaction, prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance and subcontracting activities to the management team in Switzerland.

• You will ensure all supply chain activities comply with local regulations and company policies, resolve any issues related to overseas shipments and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and coordinate drop shipments from EMS partners to customers in China and worldwide.

• You will ensure accurate and timely processing of shipment documents and invoices, monitor and track drop shipments to ensure delivery performance meets customer expectations.

• You will lead projects on planning optimization, inventory reduction, and supply chain process improvements, coordinate new product launch and change with the product management team. You will support new supplier and material qualification initiative in development projects.

Your background:

• You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. diploma.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience

• Excellent knowledge of systems (SAP S4/Hana, Excel, MS PBI, etc.).

• Profound planning and logistics knowledge.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Proactive and able to work independently.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Chinese as a mother tongue, with advanced English and German language skills being a plus.
