This is how you will grow:

This position leads all integration of upcoming model changes or new models into series operations in the Body Shop lines. Will support the Process Engineering department to provide seamless integration of new models and equipment.

  • Lead all Model Year Activities for Body Shop
  • Ensure all quality requirements are achieved
  • Ensure all cycle time targets are achieved
  • Plan for seamless integration of changes to prevent disruptions
  • Coordinate all changes with the Process Engineer of affected lines
  • Support all trial requirements
  • Lead the launch and integration of trials
  • Schedule body start timing with other groups

Requirements

This is how you will take us forward:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or related field
  • 2 plus years of similar experience as a Process Engineer
  • Automotive Body experience needed
  • Working knowledge of stud welding, spot welding, sealing/gluing, MIG welding, impact joining, riveting, etc
  • Project experience
  • Good time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task & delegate
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
