<p></p><p><b><span>ERM</span></b> is seeking a motivated<span> <b>Environmental Engineer Intern (Summer)</b></span> who is interested in participating on environmental consulting projects in <b><span>Irvine, California</span></b>. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on a variety of interesting <span><span style="display:inline;text-decoration:inherit;">environmental-related</span></span> projects across the scope of our technical service areas with multiple clients. This is a great opportunity to work with ERM's technical experts to build experience within the environmental consulting industry.</p><p></p><p><b><span>RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></b></p><ul><li>Participate in preparation of environmental compliance plans, permits, and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water, and wastewater projects.</li><li>Assist in data interpretation and preparation of ERM deliverables including site workplans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports.</li><li>Assist with Phase I and II environmental assessments to support property transfer transactions.</li><li>Focus on team project delivery, taking direction primarily from Project Managers.</li><li>Provide support to internal Project Managers by assisting in ensuring work product is within compliance of all federal, state and local regulations.</li><li>Work within <span><span style="display:inline;text-decoration:inherit;">quality/budget/schedule</span></span> expectations and scope-specific assignments.</li><li>Support ERM employees on multiple projects within <span><span style="display:inline;text-decoration:inherit;">scope/budget/schedule</span></span> expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>REQUIREMENTS:</span></b></p><ul><li>Currently working towards a BS or MS in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, or other related discipline; Minimum 3.2 GPA.</li><li>Effective written/verbal communication and <span><span style="display:inline;text-decoration:inherit;">organization/analytical</span></span> skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.</li><li>Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.</li><li>Local candidates preferred.</li><li><b>This internship is a part-time role expected to last approximately 2-3 months.</b></li></ul><p></p><p><b>For the <span>Environmental Engineer Intern (Internship)</span> position, we anticipate the hourly base pay of <span>$20 – $25 (CAD/USD</span>).  An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.  We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above.  </b></p><p></p><p><b>You can apply for this role through <span style="display:inline;text-decoration:inherit;">https://www.erm.com/careers/apply/</span> or through the internal careers portal if you are a current employee. </b></p><p></p><p><b>Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
