Role Overview:
We are seeking a can-do, responsive, and creative business operator and administrator. You’ll take over several critical business workstreams from the CEO to:
You are not afraid of admin work, and have the drive and potential to grow. This is not an executive assistant role, but a lot of the work can be administrative in nature.
You’ll gain a 360 view of what it actually takes to start and grow a successful business in the world’s most interesting industry — wholesale food farming and distribution.

Responsiveness:
Regular hours are not required. You can work on projects whenever they best fit in with your schedule and team goals/deadlines.
However, rapid responsiveness, great communication, and attention to detail is required. We are hiring someone who loves to hit the ball back quickly!
Why? Fresh produce is a fast-moving space, and we are a fast-growing company. This can make the difference between generating $10,000–$100,000 for a Permanent farmer versus missing the planting/harvest season and having to wait a whole year to try again. If we can equip our customers and teammates with the materials they need in 2 hours versus in 2 days, every day, you will compound our growth! Although this is a part-time role, we can only consider candidates who are responsive 9A–9P PST to jump on new projects or answer questions — no matter what your other jobs or responsibilities in life may be.
Location:
We’re 3 currently full-time people in Seattle, NYC, and Portland and a remote-first company. Most of our customers and farmers are in California.
Candidates who have a knowledge of California agriculture and logistics industry will have a natural advantage in this role. The ability to write in Spanish is also an advantage.
