Procurement Administrator (12-month contract)

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Planning and Governance, the Procurement Administrator provides procurement administrative support and vendor administration/on-boarding support in the Procurement Department to assist with the effective utilisation and on-going transitioning to effective and streamlined procurement processes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Vendor administration and on-boarding of vendors: Liaising with different internal stakeholders on supplier onboarding and managing the supplier onboarding processes - actioned through taking control of, managing and updating the procurement email inbox – loading new suppliers on the system; make changes to existing suppliers and assist users with supplier vendor data queries.
  • General procurement administration: Manage the procurement email inbox, resolve general queries, arrange meetings, follow-up queries with suppliers and contractors, request quotations, find and source local suppliers for goods and services, issuing and receiving of RFP and tender documents, compiling and completing requests for data (e.g. ESG, O&M contracts, Service contract registers).

Qualities and Skills:

  • Should have some previous procurement experience.
  • Should have strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to build solid working relationships and work across functions in a professional environment.
  • Ability to analyse and improve procurement administrative processes and systems.
