Senior Special Airport Systems Engineer

The ideal candidate would have a long track record of leading the airport planning and design process with proven portfolio of projects in the aviation sector. This role requires extensive understanding of the aviation sector, industry knowledge as well as solid Middle East experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the airport planning and design process for the project, including airside and landside facilities, terminal buildings, and associated infrastructure.
• Develop airport layouts and ensure compliance with international aviation standards
• Utilize expertise in airport design principles and best practices to ensure the project is delivered to the highest standard.
• Conduct research and analysis to develop comprehensive aviation plans and feasibility studies
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and other design disciplines to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Provide technical expertise and support to other project teams as needed
• Review Airport Master Plan changes to assess the impacts of the changes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Airport Planning
• Total 15 years of experience with minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation planning and airport design
• GCC experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of airport design and engineering, as well as relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines in the aviation sector like ICAO, FAA, UFC, CAAs, IATA, as well as other international and local regulatory standards
• Experience managing complex aviation projects, including leading teams and coordinating with clients and stakeholders
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in industry-standard software and tools, such as Aviplan, AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS
• Have in depth knowledge of:
