Parts Specialist

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Parts Specialist, under the direction of the Shop Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to):

• Assist shop manager in the daily operations of private light and medium duty repair shop.

• Keep the parts department clean and orderly.

• Track inventory levels

• Weekly inventory counts

• Knowledge and ability to research parts and be cost consensus.

• Ability to build relationships with vendors

• Support the shop in miscellaneous tasks and errands

Requirements (to include, but not limited to):

• Mechanical aptitude of parts knowledge.

• Strong verbal and writing abilities

• Strong experience in Microsoft Office

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team with attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy

• Ability to maintain an established work schedule

• Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures

• Effective organization and planning skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Ability to safely drive a company vehicle on occasion

• Ability to have full use of hands, fingers, legs, back, etc.

• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis

Education / Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent (required)

• Prior experience preferred

• Ability to take direction from leadership.

• Valid Driver’s License Required with a clean driving record.
