Purpose of the role

Reporting directly to the Regional Manufacturing Manager, this crucial leadership position at our Coopers Plains site carries responsibility for surpassing our production goals, with a steadfast commitment to safety and quality. Success hinges on maintaining exceptional site production standards through ongoing enhancement, adept project oversight, and inspirational leadership.

 

What will you do?

·       Providing leadership to a team of around 30 so every member can contribute to their full potential, and is motivated to perform and grow with Vinidex

·       Driving a pro-active safety culture and instilling safe work behaviours in every person on site

·       Coordinating the site resources to achieve the production plan so all commitments are met on time and in full

·       Driving operational improvement using lean manufacturing principles to inform and guide activities

 

About You

·       Relevant degree is advantageous

·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment

·       You are an experienced ‘hands-on” people leader with a production or manufacturing background looking to grow your career with more responsibility and bigger, interesting challenges

·       Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams and stakeholders. A collaborative leader who is hands-on and leads by example

·       Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and practices, ensuring a safe workplace for all employees
