<div><p>  </p><p><strong>General Summary</strong></p><p>The Program Coordinator (PC)position is responsible for the development, deployment, and evaluation of member-serving program(s) related to youth outreach and workforce development.  The PC will also be responsible for coordinating activities for an economic development grant on inclusive career pathways in the State of Alabama.</p><p><br></p><strong>About ReMA</strong>ReMA is the Voice of the Recycling Industry™, promoting safe, economically sustainable, and environmentally responsible recycling through networking, advocacy, and education.<p>ReMA is focused on creating and providing resources to help members achieve their sustainability goals, educating members on the business opportunities within sustainability efforts, and on telling the story of how the industry as a whole contributes to a more sustainable and resilient economy.  </p><p><br></p><p>We are excited to offer a hybrid work model that allows you to balance the best of both worlds. Our team members have the flexibility to work from home as many as four days per week and in our vibrant office one day to ensure that you can work in the environment that best suits your needs. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)</strong></p><ul><li>Develops and implements programs, projects and activities related to sustainability, youth outreach and workforce development. </li><li>Conducts outreach to ensure strong program awareness from both employer and employee pipelines. Coordinates workforce development tools &amp; program promotion with ReMA Communications. </li><li>Coordinates program strategy with relevant ReMA member committees, subcommittees, councils, working groups, etc. </li><li>Forms partnerships with community groups, non-profits, and other associations to ensure inclusivity within ReMA sustainability programming. </li><li>Conducts needs assessments and meets with members, non-profit groups, and others to identify needs and available resources. </li><li>Collaborates with other organizations to plan and develop programs and activities or improve coordination of existing services. </li><li>Researches funding sources, develop short and long range plans, set and monitor progress toward program goals, and compile informational reports. </li><li>Develops and delivers training and onboarding for program participants.</li><li>Assists in the development and monitoring of program budgets.</li><li>Assists in the development and implementation of operating policies and Procedures.</li><li>Conducts regular program evaluation and continually adjusts programming based on results, with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion outcomes.</li><li>Prepares reports, agendas and organize content for the Sustainability Department as needed.</li><li>Completes special projects, performs research, and summarizes results upon request.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS: </strong></p><ul><li>The salary range for this position is between $50k - $65k. </li><li>ReMA offers a hybrid work environment with flexibilty </li><li>Travels up to 30% required for member site visits and career fairs, ReMA’s Annual Convention, and other out-of-town meetings.</li><li>ReMA offers an exceptional benefits package including eighty percent employer paid employee insurance, generous 401k contribution and professional development assistance. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred, plus one to three years of relevant experience.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak in public and present in front of audiences. </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines while demonstrating professionalism under pressure.</li><li>Thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle concurrent projects from conception to completion.</li><li>Must have exceptional skills in editing documents, memos, and spreadsheets; experience using Office 365 and other office computer systems is desired.</li><li>Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Disclaimer</strong></p><p>This is not an attempt to list all essential functions of the position.
