As an EMEA CDR Sourcing Manager you will apply your effective negotiation skills to recruit suppliers and play a key consulting role to help them scale and commercialize their carbon removal projects. - Build networks and relationships with carbon removal partners and the greater ecosystem in EMEA, including companies, associations, agencies, etc.
- Manage your own pipeline of removal projects. Hold the relationship with your own key accounts and regularly update the Buyer Sales team on their progress.
- Offer reliable and efficient support for our supplier partners towards the issuance of certified removal credits.
- Become an expert user of Carbonfuture’s digital platform: manage removals and credits, onboard suppliers to the platform, guide suppliers on new features, and give detailed feedback to the product team.
- Support supplier due diligence, which involves reputational, financial, and environmental risk assessment.
- Support communication with large corporate partners, including presenting certain key removal projects and becoming an expert for the existing removal methodologies.
- Represent Carbonfuture at conferences, associations, policy, and lobby groups.
- Contribute and actively exchange with the scientific and/or policy community.
What you bring to the table
- You have more than 2 years of professional experience in environmental technologies, carbon markets and/or greenhouse gas emission strategies or related fields.

- You have experience in initiating and managing partner relationships.
- You have a good understanding of durable removals and the differences between removal technologies.
- You are inquisitive and always looking for new opportunities and different angles to solve problems.
- You are a skillful and compelling communicator. You are fluent in English. French, German and/or Spanish are a plus.
