The role

The Renewable Energy team is responsible for Rystad Energy’s research and analyses of solar, wind, storage sectors. We are seeking an independent, self-driven and well-organized individual with a good analytical mindset and communication skills to support our renewable & power research in Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support improving Rystad Energy’s renewable & power asset-level database.
  • Conduct research on asset-level information and make updates to the database.
  • Support industrial news and market trends updates.
  • Support creation of charts for commentaries and reports.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned by Team Manager and Analysts.  

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or post-graduate student pursuing degree in economics, energy systems, engineering, finance, computer science or other relevant majors.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel and Powerpoint. Programming skills are an advantage but not required.
  • Experience related to renewable energy will be an added advantage.
  • Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months (Oct 2024 - Feb 2025). If you are available to start earlier, do indicate that in your cover letter.
