<h2>Overview</h2><p><em><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>A successful candidate will provide water policy research and analysis support for Cadmus’ Public Services Division/Water Team and will support contracts with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other government clients. This position will provide support work in the areas of drinking water policy and water quality, specifically topics related to the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations (NPDWRs) and the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). NPDWRs include regulations such as Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) and the newly finalized PFAS Rule. </p><p> </p><p>This position requires someone who is initiative-taking to perform and learn, able to work collaboratively and independently, detail-oriented, comfortable reading and understanding technical writing, and able to manage assigned tasks and projects from start to finish with input from supervisors. Candidates will have distinguished themselves with academic excellence and a clearly demonstrated work ethic. A successful candidate may work on one or more of the following EPA programs: Lead Service Line Replacement Accelerators, Support for the Implementation of NPDWRs, Drinking Water Grants, State and Tribal Primacy Support, Building the Capacity of Drinking Water Systems, and Workforce Development.</p><p> </p><p><em><strong>Who We Are</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>At Cadmus, we recognize that solving the world’s most challenging problems can’t be accomplished alone or with cookie-cutter solutions. Let’s solve the world’s most challenging problems together.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Write or edit guidance documents, reports, case studies, presentations, and other documents directed to specific audiences (e.g., underserved and/or disadvantaged communities).</li> <li>Conduct literature searches and reviews on topics to support policy initiatives and assess the impacts of policy decisions.</li> <li>Research drinking water regulations and review for understanding.</li> <li>Provide general project support: <ul> <li>Ensuring project manager and client satisfaction across multiple projects in a program.</li> <li>Facilitating information sharing and planning across projects and teams.</li> <li>Supporting the efforts of multiple project managers.</li> <li>Providing strategic thinking and problem solving in support of client initiatives.</li> <li>Ensuring all practices are conducted in accordance with internal quality control and quality assurance policies.</li> <li>Supporting high-quality client deliverables.</li> <li>Using quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze data and conduct evaluations.</li> </ul></li> <li>Provide logistical and administrative support for Cadmus project teams.</li> <li>Present material internally and assist on external meetings (e.g., webinars).</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul> <li>BS/BA with coursework in public health, social sciences, environmental science and policy, or other relevant area.</li> <li>Classwork or experience with EPA regulatory, water science, or public policy programs,</li> <li>Classwork or experience with lead in drinking and/or PFAS is preferred.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking over the phone and to live audiences.</li> <li>Strong organizational abilities.</li> <li>Ability to conduct research, collect secondary data, and analyze data in support of data-driven analyses.</li> <li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Applied experience with research activities.</li> <li>Experience public speaking.</li> <li>Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information: </strong></p><p> </p><p>Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.</p><p> </p><p>The minimum starting salary for this position is $52,000.
